Music News
Welcome to another year of music making!
Our rehearsal and Instrumental timetable is as follows:
Monday:
- Senior Choir (year 4, 5 and 6) – 8am in the music room
Tuesday:
- Concert Band – 7:30am in the hall
- Grade 4 Instrumental music lessons
- Ukulele and Percussion Band (year 3, 4, 5 and 6) – 1:25pm in the music room
Wednesday:
- Big Band – 7:45 in the Instrumental music room
- Grade 5 and 5 Instrumental music lessons
Thursday:
- Junior Choir (year 2 and 3) – 8am in the music room
Please note – String Ensemble and lesson days are yet to be confirmed.
All rehearsals will begin in week 3.

Music Uniform Shirts
If your child is participating in any of the following ensembles or programs, please head to the QKR! App to purchase their music uniform shirt.
- Junior and Senior Choir
- Ukulele and Percussion Band
- Instrumental Music - Strings
- Instrumental Music – Brass, Woodwind and Percussion
These shirts are to be worn to school on the day of the relevant ensemble rehearsal and will also be worn for all performances.
Run Club
Run Club is held from 7:45am until 8:25am on Monday mornings. It will begin on Monday 10 February and runs all year.
Students meet on the bottom oval. The main goal is getting the kids moving. Hopefully they also notice an improvement in their running technique and fitness in the lead up to the school cross country, the athletics carnival and beyond. All students in Grades 3 to 6 are welcome to attend, regardless of their ability.

EASTER SCHOOL HOLIDAY TENNIS COACHING CLINICS
Enrolments are now open for the Easter School Holiday Tennis Clinics as well as special discounted holiday private coaching sessions.
Positions are available for all school students between the ages of 4-15 years but please note timings will differ depending upon your child's age and experience. Children from all schools are invited to attend any clinic.

Speech and Drama – positions still available prep – year 6 – Wednesday morning 7.30am
Let’s Talk Kids the number one leading speech and drama company is sourcing acting students. LTK has been providing classes at Bulimba for 15 years.
We have two spots left for 2025. All students will perform in the November show entitled – Heroes and Villains.
LTK requires students who would like to perform on stage as a super hero or a baddie. Come and learn performing art skills, improve communication techniques and build confidence.
Classes held on a Wednesday morning in the hall before school. Two age appropriate classes. Prep children are taken to class at the conclusion of the lesson.
