Welcome New P&C Exec Members

We would like to welcome our new P&C executive members. As the approved provider for our OSHC service, we look forward to working with you over the coming year.

Harmony Week

We have had a wonderful time celebrating Harmony Week. Whilst we strive to ensure that inclusiveness, respect and belonging is at the core of everything we do, Harmony weeks allows us to really celebrate the diversity of our community and what brings us all together. This week at OSHC we have listened to different cultural music, attempted some traditional dances, highlighted on a map where our families are from, looked at restaurant menus from around the world during imaginative play, and most importantly, shared stories and traditions with each other.

Autumn Vacation Care

Our Autumn Vacation Care program has been released, and bookings can be made via XAP. This vacation care period will run from Monday 7^th April to Thursday 17^th April. If you would like to attend but are not yet enrolled, please email oshcgeneral@bulimbass.eq.edu.au and we will help you through the enrolment process.

Resource Collection

We are busy collecting resources for our upcoming vacation care program. Any donations of the items listed below would be much appreciated. Resources can be dropped off at the OSHC office anytime between 6:30am – 6pm.

Additional Activities

If your child is attending an additional activity during before or after school care e.g., tennis, a permission form must be completed. Please note that as per our Safe Arrivals and Departures of Children and Young People policy, your child will not be released from OSHC without a completed form. Red Food Day

Our first red food day is on Wednesday 26^th march. Order a delicious Beef Traveller Pie through the Qkr! app.

Volunteers

We need your help! Every Friday, we are in desperate need of up to 4 volunteers to help get orders packed and dispatched between 8:30am and 11am. We promise you some delicious coffee, a sneak peek at your child during a normal school day, and loads of laughs with us in the kitchen.

Qkr! HOW TO GUIDES: 

 

Please check that your child’s details are correct in Qkr! The correct class and year must be updated each year. Also check that you have completed the allergy information, if needed. Orders must be made by 8:30am Monday – Thursday and by 7:30am on Fridays.

 

 

EASTER SCHOOL HOLIDAY TENNIS COACHING CLINICS

Enrolments are now open for the Easter School Holiday Tennis Clinics as well as special discounted holiday private coaching sessions.  

Positions are available for all school students between the ages of 4-15 years but please note timings will differ depending upon your child's age and experience.  Children from all schools are invited to attend any clinic.

Speech and Drama – positions still available  prep – year 6 –        Wednesday morning 7.30am

Let’s Talk Kids the number one leading speech and drama company is sourcing acting students.  LTK has been providing classes at Bulimba for 15 years.

We have two spots left for 2025.  All students will perform in the November show entitled – Heroes and Villains.

LTK requires students who would like to perform on stage as a super hero or a baddie.  Come and learn performing art skills, improve communication techniques and build confidence.

Classes held on a Wednesday morning in the hall before school.  Two age appropriate classes.  Prep children are taken to class at the conclusion of the lesson.
