I am writing to inform you that BRAINways Education, in conjunction with Central Queensland University, is pleased to offer the BRAINways STEM School of Excellence – program for gifted and talented students of Brisbane

The following topics are being offered for students year levels 2-4 and 5-7, as follows:

Years 2-4 and 5-7:

Day 1:

The Maths of Magic

How Bones Make Blood

Day 2:

Can We Create Dark Matter

The Science of a Cup of Coffee

Could you please identify students in your school, and invite them to participate in the STEM School of Excellence programs?

Please find attached the documentation to be forwarded to the parents of nominated students.

For student registration, please follow the steps below:

1. The students are selected by their teachers.
2. Each selected student receives the following information: a) Nomination Letter, b) Program Information, c) Website address for enrolment https://registration.brainways.com.au/stem-school-of-excellence-brisbane/
3. Parents complete the enrolment via the BRAINways online enrolment system. An email will be received when the enrolment is completed, to confirm the place in the program.
4. Students are asked to bring the Nomination Letter when attending the programs, and present it at registration

Please note that, as limited places are available in the programs, the registration will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, and no reservations are possible.  Please email Karen McCullagh to register kmccu3@eq.edu.au.
